About the Role
Develop photocurable materials and biomaterials from initial lab explorations to validation, application, and commercialization.
Support the internal and external 3D printing, 3D tissue engineering, and microfluidic chips related projects.
Develop printing and application protocols to ensure new and existing materials print on our hardware.
Support, collaborative with internal and external teams and customers for utilization of materials.
Other duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements
Ph.D. in Biomaterial, Polymer Science, or related fields.Â
Expertise and significant hands-on experience in synthesizing and formulating a wide range of photocurable materials: biomaterials, acrylate, plastics, and so on.Â
Strong proficiency in materials characterization, with specialized hands-on experience in biomaterials testing, including cell culture and biocompatibility assessments.Â
Experience developing and applying photocurable materials on photo-based 3D printers.Â
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, result oriented environment.Â
A creative and resourceful problem-solver, balancing speed and scientific rigor in a dynamic environment.Â
